Welcome to Leksand Hockeyskola (Leksand Summer Hockeyschool)
We have a long tradition of hockey here in Leksand and also a long tradition of organizing summer hockeyschools aswell.
We like to fill the participants week with activities that are good for all young athletes and especially for young hockeyplayers.

Leksand summer Hockeyschool are aiming to be a total experience for the participants and our main focus are;

At the same time we want the visiting parents and siblings to have a great time filled with opportunities for fun and a variation of activities in Leksand.

Every week start and end

The weeks start on Sunday with registration between 10:00-12:00 and end on Saturday at lunch. Example: If you book that you will be with us week 27, the Hockey School starts on Sunday week 26.

Week 27: Sunday 30 June - Saturday 6 July

Week 28: Sunday 7 July - Saturday 13 July

Week 29: Sunday 14 July - Saturday 20 July

Groups

Our aim is to have 5 groups every week with a limit of 34 players in every group.

The groups are set up according to age but the skill level can also be taken into consideration.

Content

The week ends and begins

The hockey school starts on Sunday with enrollment between 10:00 - 12:00. The groups gather after lunch (which you arrange yourself) at 13:00. The week ends on the Saturday after lunch.

100% Hockey

Other hockey schools may call similar arrangements Elite. We want to call it a hockey experience with one hundred percent focus on hockey. This means more ice / physics and theory sessions. Since we also know how important it is with diet and exercise theory, we also put a lot of focus on this during this week.

Hockey school
This is our traditional Hockey school that is aimed at students 10-15 years of age. Here we offer a packed week with training, fitness training and theory mixed with other activities outside of hockey. The accommodation for boarding students is in Tegera Arena. Of course, all students get well-prepared lunch and dinner and that we offer snacks. The boarding students also get breakfast and evening meals.

Girls group

Even though many girls are used to playing with boys in their club teams, it can sometimes be fun to be in a group with only girls. In the girl group, the age is mixed between 10-15 years of age. We try to keep the group intact but divide the group into development levels during exercises where required.

Junior week

Junior group for those who are 8-9 years old. The idea is that they will go on the same days as the rest of the Hockey School, but shorter days with 1 ice session and 1 activity session. The junior students eat lunch and snacks at the Hockey School, but no overnight stays take place at Tegera Arena.

Day or boarding student

As a day student, you get (in addition to all activities at the Hockey School) a cap, t-shirt, shorts and all meals except breakfast and evening meals that are included for boarding students.

Goalkeepers
It is very easy for goalkeepers to just become puck receivers at a hockey school. We have tried to get a good mix where our hope is that every goalkeeper will feel that they have been given the opportunity to develop during the week. We have 2 goalkeeping coaches who follow the goalkeepers for a week. These coaches film each goalkeeper and go through the film with the goalkeeper. The film / films together with comments get the goalkeeper to take home. We also give the goalkeepers extra training together with the goalkeeping coaches.

Our price settings for week 27-29, 2024:

Room included (internat) 1 070 SEK

Can be selected for all our groups except the Junior group

Spot in a conference room with other players in your group and all meals from sunday dinner to saturday lunch. You will need to bring your own matress.

Leksand Hockeyschool Daycamp 5 345 SEK:

Included in the price are all activities at the hockeyschool, specially designed hockeyschool clothes and all meals except breakfast and evening snack.

Week 28 Junior (Players age 8-9 years) 3 205 SEK:

This is a daycamp group, it features one (1) on-ice and one (1) off-ice session each day, including lunch monday-saturday.

Girls group Week 27, 5 345 SEK:

Week 27 offers a group with only girls, our aim is to only have female coaches aswell. This group has the same activites and schedule as any other group.

100% Hockey 6 415 SEK

For players who wants the most of the hockeyexperience, 100% focus on icehockey, theory and more. No other activities. All meals are included if you also book accomodation at the arena. If not you´ll have to provide for breakfast and evening snack on your own.

Cancellation

In the case of a medical certificate, the entire fee is refunded.
If canceled without a valid medical certificate no later than 30 days before the hockey school starts,
everything except SEK 500 will be refunded.
If no payment has been made, SEK 500 will be invoiced.
If the cancellation takes place less than 30 days before the hockey school starts, everything except SEK 1500 will be refunded.
